Are prices reasonable also is food good??
My experience was exactly as it always was. I hadn't been there in years but I was happy to find it hadn't changed. Service was great and I was happy to learn Tammy was still there.
MoreGood breakfast. Big portions. Plenty of choice and quick service.
No face mask how do they get away with that. R they special or allowed to disobey rules set for all to follow. Not right.
MoreService was ok. Not the friendliest. The food was amazing. I will definitely come back to have breakfast when we are in the Mount Pleasant area again.
MoreUnder normal circumstances I would have given Stan's a four star, because the food there is usually very good. But I was VERY disappointed when we walked in. Not one staff member was wearing a mask and no social distancing. I understand social distancing is hard to follow, because it's a small restaurant, but the staff could at least be wearing a mask.
MoreIt was a bit busy so I can understand a wait but it took almost 20 minutes to get the food. The Western omelette was good but nothing special but the sausage was cooked perfectly. Nice homey breakfast place tough and not that pricey
MoreGreat breakfast! Best blueberry pancakes ever!!!
A family-friendly restaurant with delicious omelettes and great toast! Waiters are kind and respectful. Breakfast here is a fabulous way to start your day!
MoreWe walked in and the place was packed. There was no social distancing going on, tables next to tables, no one wearing a mask including the staff. Not ine person working there had one on. We walked in and then walked right back out.
MoreWe had breakfast there and it was delicious. We had to wait a little bit to be seated because it was so busy but it was definitely worth the wait. The waitress kept our coffee filled up. Super friendly staff and a down home feel to the place.
MoreFound this place by chance. Amazing, home made bread, real sausage, you can beat their prices either. My only regret is not knowing about this reaturaunt when I was in college.
MoreWow I like this place! Their slogan is "Where home cooking is the main ingredient" and it shows. Good portion (american-sized) comfort food. NOT a greasy spoon!
MoreThe place is super ran down. The booths are tipsy and have no padding. The food is okay. The famous chicken soup has absolutely no chicken!
MoreRude waitress, "HOMEMADE" chicken soup with no chicken in it, 8 bucks for a canned corned beef breakfast, and a tough baked ham sandwich and .75 for a slice of unripe tomato. Overpriced for this type of food. See my pics. Drove 37 miles for this!
MoreAfter 25 years, they've never let me down with their farmer's omelette & chicken noodle soup.
MoreWe visited a few months ago, it was really disappointing to see how run down this place has become. The food was mediocre at best. Sadly It's not the same great restaurant it used to be.
MoreFood was ready when I got there. Took 10 minutes to get home and it was still nice and warm. Great flavor on corned beef hash and homemade bread reminds me of a Chewier spatz bread, which I'm liking. Definitely gonna try this again for a from-scratch breakfast.
MoreAwesome place to eat! Been going for years! Typically fast service and always friendly....highly recommend!
MoreGood food, good prices, friendly staff. Only down side is the interior could use some TLC, but that may add to the charm. Still the best breakfast in Mount Pleasant
MoreGood food. Reasonably priced & nice staff. Tammy knows what she's doing.
the owner Stan was very nice and he reminded me of my dog who’s name is also Stan
MoreDelicious food and employees were awesome. Definitely recommend for some home cooked style foods.
MoreGood food quick service
Not one staff work a mask at this restaurant. I pointed it out to them. The staff responded with “ok” and went on her business. We left the restaurant immediately. There were family, elderlies and CMU students eating at the dinner. Yet, they did not care of the public’s well being. This place needs to be fined and shut down for potential covid transmissions.
MoreThe Pancakes are Amazing!
Some of the best food around. Definitely can tell it’s homemade and the staff is always friendly. Delicious!
MoreGreat lunch very very reasonable
I just love Stan's,reminds me of Sunday breakfast at my grandma's.
Stan's is a fantastic local diner, that specializes in breakfast and lunch items. The food is great, and the service is fast and friendly! Definitely check them out
MoreThe food was good. It's your typical small diner type food such as breakfast items, burgers and sandwiches. We had 2 adults and 2 children and our total was just under 40 dollars for 4 meals with drinks.
MoreWent for breakfast. Nice portions. the food was delicious. Service was great.
Great food and the waitress was super friendly too. I had the biscuits n gravy and would highly recommend. Open for dine-in at 630am. Go check them out!!!
MoreSpectacular sausage gravy, great toast (some homemade), good hashbrowns, slightly below average bacon. Service was great as was my coffee.
MoreWhat you would expect for a hometown dinner. Decent service and quick grub. Could use a good cleaning.
MoreNice little diner with a pretty standard menu. No frills just good food at reasonable prices. Try the homemade bread!
MoreI recommend it to visitors but I won’t go back. My favorite breakfast is French toast and I personally didn’t like theirs. I wish I did because my boyfriend enjoyed his meal. They seemed understaffed when we went on a weekend morning.
MoreThe food is homemade and delicious. This is a hometown favorite for me to go to. I recently had their open face Turkey sandwich and it was amazing! The staff are very friendly. You may have to wait for a seat depending what time you go, but it is worth the wait.
MoreAmazing little find! The staff (in particular our waitress) was personable and made our morning. The food was delicious—perhaps some of the best sausage gravy I’ve had. Highly recommend stopping here!
MoreStill one of my faves..service always on point an friendly..the homemade chicken noodle is THE BEST IN MI
MoreGreat food, friendly service, does not accept debit cards.
Food was really good, sevice was not with a smile. It almost seemed like it was annoying we were in there. We were never offered refills and only checked on once. For most of our meal we were the only people in there.
MoreThis looked like a good place to eat and right up me and my families alley. When we got there at noon, they said they were closed. The place had people eating and they weren't supposed to close until 2.
MoreMost days they are very busy. Always friendly. Decently priced, great homemade food.
MoreThe food is outstanding. The service is fast and very friendly.
We are from the Detroit area and took a one night trip to soaring eagle. Stopped here in the morning and this place was amazing. I would highly recommend this place, little gem.
MoreMediocre food and over priced. I like to support locally owned restaurants but they charge just as much if not more than the chain restaurants.
MoreStopped for breakfast. Left Casino as they don't have breakfast buffet any more. Had biscuits and gravy, was good. Place needs a lot of remodeling.
MoreOne of Mt. Pleasant's hidden gems! Small cozy diner with nice staff. If you're looking for a place with REAL food, then this is the place. Not as packed as other places are "at least I've never came here and had to wait for a table". My omlete was cooked perfectly, loaded with veggies and you get to ask what kind of cheese you'd like. I love thier toast not too buttery and not too dry-toaste, my side of hash browns was perfect too, you can ask for them to be crispy if you wanted too. Coffe gets refilled a lot, so your mug is never empty. Super filling breakfast / brunch and totally worth the price. Highly recommends it.
MoreThe food is always homemade and delicious. No mashed potatoes for my chicken noodle soup.
MoreThis was an excellent place to sit and relax. The atmosphere is exactly what I'm looking for in a small town restaurant. The service was friendly and the food was good. It is a challenge sometimes however because the menu is limited. This is a good thing in most cases but sometimes makes it hard to decide on a meal.
